When snow covers your driveway and sidewalks, it presents a hazard to anyone who has to use these surfaces. Snow can become packed and slippery, and can be a real danger. Removing this built up snow can eliminate the danger, but there is danger associated with this removal process as well. Every year many people are injured from shoveling their driveways and sidewalks. It is easy to slip and fall, or to succumb from exhaustion or hypothermia. This winter, be careful and know your limits. It is all too easy to get injured while doing something like snow shoveling.
